A true family establishment
It all started with their grandfather, Ike Gorovy, who owned his own bagel shop in Brooklyn. Many years later, his grandsons, Jordan and Brett Vaccari, carried on his tradition by opening Ike’s Bagel Café in 2015 in Livingston, N.J.
“Ike’s is different from the rest because we are focused on giving great customer service and great food. We use the best quality ingredients and everything is homemade. We take pride in our store and what we serve,” said Jordan.
Their catering menu is extensive, and they have served as few as four and as many as 300. And it’s not just local; they have catered a party in Greenwood Lake, N.Y.
For Yom Kippur, “we will be serving all the classic dishes with homemade cream cheese, bagels, whitefish salad, egg salad, tuna salad, etc. Ike’s will be offering some great packages to feed the entire family, all decorated and placed on a platter,” stated Jordan.
